Please Read!
These rules are always subject to updates – these updates will be based on problems that happen within the game; and others that we my happen to come across.
Please make it a habit of referring to these rules and the ones in the forums periodically.
Updates to these rules may also be found in the forums, and many times will appear there before they appear here. If they are posted in the forums, they apply just as much as they do here, so please read the forums regularly.
General Notice
Unused accounts will be temporarily disabled after one month. If we do not receive an email from you after the account has been disabled, one month later the account will be deleted. If there is a problem keeping you from playing please PM an Admin in the forums with the details!
Accounts
Players are allowed one account with 5 characters. Players found to be accessing an account belonging to someone else will be responsible for having both accounts banned and deleted. Any player found with more than one account without prior consent by an Admin will be banned and the account deleted. If you have a situation where two or more members of the same household/IP address wish accounts please PM an Admin in the forums with the details (including the reasons needed and account name and password you wish to have).
Character Naming
Common sense should be used when choosing a name. If the name you choose is offensive, vulgar, sexually implicit, and discriminatory or nonsense in any way, you will be asked to change that name. Failure to do so will result in the deletion of that character. Constantly creating characters with vulgar, offensive, sexually implicit, discriminatory or nonsense names will result in you being banned from the shard. Staff members will determine what falls into these categories not the player. (Note: This applies to guild names and guild titles as well, in which case failure to comply will result in the guild being removed and the guild leaders character being deleted.).
Harassment
Profanity, sexual slurs (including body parts or actions), religious slurs or racial slurs will not be acceptable on this shard. If someone asks you to stop (players and/or staff) and you do not then this will be considered harassment. Ruining other people’s game play by excessive emoting, spamming messages and constant rude behavior is also considered harassment and will not be tolerated. Verbal abuse applies to all forms of communication, whether it takes place in person, on chat, or in the forums.
If someone is doing something mentioned above or something that you feel is harassment but it is not listed here then please page a staff member to handle the situation.
Harassment is a jailable offence and continued reprimands can lead to a ban from the shard if not heeded. Depending on the circumstances, severe cases may result in instant banishment. Such cases will be determined by the Owner or an Administrator.
Forums
The forum is there for open discussion with minimal supervision. Staff/Shard bashing or player bashing will not be tolerated. Please refrain from using any foul language, sexual, religious, or racist remarks. Please refer to the rules of the forums for all the rules and Terms of Use.
If you have an issue with a player, please page a staff member. If you have an issue with any of the staff members, please feel free to email an Admin.
Bug Exploiting
If you find an obvious bug, report it immediately! If you take advantage any bug or exploit, you will be disciplined at the Admin's discretion.
Folks reporting bugs or exploits will be rewarded at the Admin's discretion.
Blocking Entrances and Exits to Dungeons and Buildings
You are not to block the entrance to any dungeon, any building, moongate, etc in this game. Blocking is defined as using any spell that would keep a player from moving freely into or out of said area or the use of any house or other items.
GM Run Quests/Events
Looting or killing other players during quests/events (except as directed by the GM – i.e. PvP event) is strictly forbidden. Players found looting or player killing during quests/events will be jailed without question. Repeat offenses might lead to banning.
Doing anything to interrupt, harass or bother an event in anyway is not tolerated at all. This includes but is not limited to talking while the GM is talking, harassing players, killing/taking event monsters/items, etc.
Punishment can be anywhere from jail time to restrictions from events to banishment (for repeat offenders).
Events are for the enjoyment of all participating, please let them enjoy it.
Third Party Programs
Any form of speed hack or multi clienting is illegal (including multiUO). You may only use Razor and UOAM. All other third party programs including EasyUO are NOT allowed under any circumstances and are grounds to have your account banned and deleted. If you have a program that you feel should be allowed to be used, please PM an Admin in the Forums explaining why and send him a link to the program. We will then check it out and add it to the list or tell you it is not allowed.
