Most free shard these days have their own patches which are downloaded and installed into the UO Game files by the players. If you play on the original UO with a paid account and/or if your play on other shards, it is always wise to copy a set of UO game files into a separate folder for each shard that you play. In order to set this up, you will need to download UO, (If you don’t have it already), Razor and HOPE from the Harvest website. 1) If you haven’t done so, install a copy of Ultima Online, onto your PC, if you already have a copy installed, you can skip this step. You can get it from the New Player Downloads link 2) Right click on your desktop and make a new folder and name that folder “Harvest” 3) Open up your original UO folder, wherever you have it installed and highlight every file in the folder and copy them. To do this, just hold down the right mouse button on the background of the folder and roll it over all of the files. Once all of the files are highlighted, let go of the right mouse button and right click again onto any one of the highlighted files and select "Copy". 4) Go back to your Harvest folder on your desktop and open the folder which should be blank. 5) Right click in the folder and paste all of the files into the Harvest folder. This may take a couple of minutes. 6) Once all of the files are copied, scroll down to the very bottom and click on the “UOPatch” icon and allow the patches to update to 6.0.9.1 7) Once that is done, you will close out that window and Install Razor onto your PC under C:\Program Files\ and once it is installed a Razor icon will be automatically placed onto your desktop. Double click that icon and razor will boot up and a setup screen will pop up. 8) On the setup screen, in the first box where it says “Load Client” you will click the Browse button and point it to your Harvest folder on your desktop and then to your “Client.exe” file and click “OK”. 9) Make sure that “Patch client encryption” is checked and then go to the “UO Data Directory” box and click browse here as well and point this one to your Desktop/Harvest folder and then click “OK” 10) Go down to the “Server” box and type in harvestonline.no-ip.org. To the right of that box is another box that says “Port”, here you will enter in 2593. Leave the language box set to “ENU” and click “OK”. 11) This will start Razor and auto load the UO Client, Enter your username and password, (assuming that you have already created an account on the website), and hit enter on your keyboard. When the next screen opens up, select “Harvest Reborn” and you can now set up your character. If you already have a character set up, you may set up a new character or click on the character that you already have and play on the Harvest Shard. 12) In order to get the Harvest patches, you will need to install HOPE (Harvest Online Patch Engraver). To do this, just extract the HOPE files onto your desktop and a folder named “HOPE” will appear there, then go back to your Razor icon that is on your desktop and right click it and select “Copy”. You will then open up your Harvest folder on your desktop and paste that file into that folder right along the side of all of the other files. Once you copy that file, right click on it and select properties and make sure the box that says “target” is set to "C:\Program Files\Razor\Razor.exe"
13) Now, open up your “HOPE” folder and click on the icon that says “HOPE”. A window will popup asking you for your Harvest UO Directory. You will point this to your Harvest folder on your desktop, then click “OK”. The patcher will open and begin to download and install the patches. Once this is done, if you put the Razor.exe file into your Harvest folder, the Razor client will automatically open, click “OK” and the UO client will open and you can log in and play Harvest. If Razor does not automatically open, you may open it via the link on your desktop. To ensure that the patches worked, go to Brit bank in Trammel and see if you see the new decorations by Kassie.
